Building on the strong demand for our previous FIDIC seminars, Howard Kennedy’s International Construction team is launching an advanced FIDIC Contracts Claims Masterclass, taking place in person over two days on Thursday 18 and Friday 19 June 2026.

This intensive workshop is designed to take a deep dive into the lifecycle of claims under the FIDIC suite of contracts. It is aimed at practitioners who regularly operate within a FIDIC framework and want to refine their approach to claims preparation, strengthen risk assessment skills, and improve readiness for disputes. Through a combination of specialist presentations and hands-on exercises, participants will explore topics such as claim formulation and defence, contractual risk allocation, notice requirements, variations, delay analysis, quantum, and force majeure.

Howard Kennedy’s International Construction team, working in partnership with Cornerstone Seminars, will deliver the Autumn 2026 FIDIC Contracts Seminar Series, commencing on 17 September 2026 and concluding on 5 November 2026.

Delivered over an eight‑week period, this online series examines key legal and practical challenges that frequently arise under FIDIC contracts, with a particular focus on dispute resolution. Each session tackles a discrete topic, including:

  • The Fair and Neutral Engineer
  • Design Responsibilities
  • Delay Claims
  • Claims for Money
  • FIDIC 1999 and 2017/2022.
